1. Mental model

Research / Drops  →  Watch or Acquire  →  Inventory  →  Purpose  →  Earnings

Keep that loop in Fat Heron. Spreadsheets are backups, not the system of record.

2. Research before money moves

  1. Open Research with a bare hostname (`example.com`).
  2. Read structure → availability → observe → comps / price assist.
  3. Widen with Comps or Drops only if needed.
  4. Decide buy / pass / watch out loud.

You’re done when: every serious name gets a card before you spend.

3. Watchlist vs inventory

  • Watchlist — not yours yet / not decided
  • Inventory — you own it here (SSOT)
  • Acquire — live buy/configure job

Give every inventory name one job: sell, park, or email/yield.

4. Weekly rhythm

  • Daily — triage watchlist; check acquires / important drops
  • Weekly — renewals; refresh comps on names you’re pricing
  • Monthly — earnings sanity; kill zombie listings

5. Assistants help screen — you decide

Setup: Research with an assistant. Discipline: Use Research properly. Never let chat invent comps or spend money.
