Research with an AI assistant

About 15–25 minutes. Your assistant talks; Fat Heron provides the facts. This is not a Fat Heron LLM.

1. Mint a key (once)

Already have fh_live_… or fh_test_…? Skip this step. Chat assistants should use /docs/agents/http.

  1. Open builders Keys or portal Developers.
  2. Create a key (label assistant-research). Prefer test keys while practicing.
  3. Include Research read (or a developer preset that has it).
  4. Store the secret — it is shown once.

You’re done when: the secret is in a password manager or editor prompt — not chat history.

2. Connect Fat Heron to your assistant

Follow the click-path for your tool (no code required):

You’re done when: the assistant lists Fat Heron tools (research domain, search comps, list drops).

3. Check your research allowance

Ask:

Check my Fat Heron research entitlement. How many queries do I have left?

If you hear quota exceeded, stop and contact Support — don’t keep retrying.

4. Run a real research job

Paste a prompt (edit the domain):

Using Fat Heron tools only, research example.com.
Summarize availability, comps, owner/hosting/mail/tech, and uncertainty.
If densify left Host/CRM fields empty, say so — don't invent firmographics.

You’re done when: the answer cites Fat Heron results, not generic web lore.

5. Act in Domainers (human in the loop)

Open app.fatheron.domains, then watchlist / acquire / list yourself. The assistant advises; you approve money moves.

Paste-ready rules for your assistant

For domain research, use Fat Heron MCP tools only.
Do not invent comparable sales or WHOIS facts.
If a tool errors with research_quota_exceeded, stop and tell me.
Prefer research_domain, research_same_owner, research_owner_cluster, search_comps, list_drops, acquire_preview, research_entitlement.
Use owner/hosting/mail_auth/tech from research_domain when present.
